About Us
KidTec is a successful after school enrichment program, in computer coding and programming, specifically tailored to girls and boys in elementary and middle school.
KidTec brings to South Florida a nationally recognized computer science curriculum that teaches kids the language, science and application of coding thoughtfully blended with the art of story telling – all in a fun, creative, and collaborative environment.
As you are aware, technology is rapidly changing the world our kids are growing up in. Our program transforms our kids’ “screen time” into mindful, creative learning by teaching them how to design and build programs, games, apps, and websites. And beyond the tech, fundamentally our program inspires future leaders how to learn, experiment, troubleshoot, and engage with others by connecting the virtual world with the physical world.

Much the same way that their school already teaches sports in gym class, some kids want to play more basketball, soccer, etc. after school. KidTec is the after school program for kids who love what they’ve learned in coding class and want to spend their free time building apps and publishing their own computer games; all the while surrounded by like-minded kids and knowledgeable instructors who care.
Our coding clubs are very popular with students, parents and schools. One reason for our success is that parents want their kids to have bright futures. While it is true that only a few kids will become professional athletes, there are currently millions of high paying positions that are unfilled and waiting for people with coding skills. KidTec Coding Club is the after school program where there is an opportunity for every kid to have fun today while building invaluable skills essential to a fulfilling, high paying career in the future.
Essentially, our kids are guided to learn, think, collaborate and communicate their ideas.
In computer programming, they learn things like block-based coding in Java script – the world’s most widely used coding language. This teaches them how to think and reason so that they can do things like instruct a game character how to walk through a maze.
